1) Mount Kailash
Mount Kailash is a 6,638m high peak in Tibet. It is located near the source of the of the Indus river and some other long rivers in Asia. Buddhists, Hindu and other religious consider Mount Kailash to be a holy place. Climbing the mountain is said to bring misfortune. Particularly mysterious is the shape of Mount Kailash. It has been suggested that the mountain is, in fact, a giant pyramid. That would make it largest pyramid ever built.
2) Gamburtsev Mountains
The Gamburtsev Mountains are a massive mountain range under the ice of Antartica. It is comparable to the Alps in Size. The underwater peaks are up to 2,400 m high. The Gamburtsev Mountains were discovered some 50 years ago and researchers are still working to answer many questions. It is a mystery how the Gamburtsev range was formed, and why they are still there. The usual geological processes that result in the mountain that result in mountain formation do not deem to apply.

Mount Bugarach is named after a small French village in the Pyrenees. It is 1,230 meters high and relatively easy to climb. Other legends surrounding Mount Khvamli say that a dragon lives inside and that it hides ancient royal treasures.

Mount Ararat is an extinct volcanic massif in western turkey. It is over 5000 meters high. In ancient times the region around Mount Ararat was known as Urartu. Ararat is the Hebrew version of this Assyro - Babylonian name. Legend has it that Nolan's ark still lies on Mount Ararat, And some mountaineers have reported seeing it, Local Legends refer to Mount Ararat as the cradle of Human life.

Mount Shasta has also been a focus for non- native American legends, centered on a hidden city of advanced beings from the lost of Lemuria.
